Counter-Strike: Source (v34) - Automix

Before the Orangebox update that broke most of the game & shattered its community, Counter-Strike: Source was quite popular in a competitive setting thanks to its faster physics and advanced strategies over 1.6.

As CSSv34 is still a curiosity for many people around, and that many of them would love to rediscover the competitive aspects of it, we have created a server for that purpose.

Server Settings:

  • Players are fully randomized once the game starts.
  • Any team that wins 15 Rounds is the winner.
  • Game settings follow the rules used in competitive CS:S back then:
    • Freeze Timer of 7 seconds,
    • Round Timer of 2:25 minutes,
    • C4 Timer of 35 seconds.
  • Since it's a PUG, Friendly Fire is disabled.
  • Dead players can still Teamchat to their teammates.

!ready !r / !rdy Sets yourself ready.
!unready !unr / !unrdy Unsets the ready status.
!status Shows the status of the PUG Warmup.

FAQ

Can this server be played with Clientmod rather than the official CSSv34 client?

  • We're unsure of it, but in theory, it should work just fine.

Will there be CSGO maps to the mix?

  • No ; only maps from the CS:S era are set.
